Cooper and Graci's Bday Party

We celebrated Cooper's 2nd and Graci's 8th birthday last weekend with Jeff's family! We had a little tea party for the girls! I made these super cute shirts for the girls to wear to the party!!! We all had such a great time!! The party was full of a bunch of girly things!!!

Bear

Well, I'm sure some of you are dying to know how Parker Bear has been doing. It's been a month since we started our new food rules in the house and I am excited to say THINGS ARE SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!

Now I will not lie things are perfect but Parker is taking baby steps to become a better eater. The rules are still the same here at the Seymore house. If you don't eat it for dinner you get it for bfast and if you don't eat it for bfast you get it for lunch then we start all over at dinner time. Also no snacks in between!!!! I would say Parker has at least one 24-48 hour span where he doesn't eat a week. But a new rule we have started is if you try 3 bites of it you don't have to eat it for bfast. Now that doesn't mean you get anything else the rest of the night but it does mean you get a normal bfast.

I really do think Parker is sensitive to some foods. But it doesn't mean we are just going to cater to it, it just means we have a longer road a head of us! He will try certain things and to watch him eat the three bites is sometimes painful!

A new thing here at the Seymore family household is smoothie for bfast. It makes me feel good that they are getting so many servings of fresh fruits and veggies first thing in the morning and the great thing is they don't even know what in it. Avin saw a picture I took of the smoothie before it was blended together and he said mom that's not mine is it! There is salad in that!!! I just laughed and said Avin mommy puts lots of yummy healthy foods in your smoothie. I didn't tell Jeff what all was in it until a couple days of him drinking them because I knew he wouldn't drink it if I told him.

Reed's 5 months old

Reed turned 5 month 10.10.10. I took these pictures on 10.13.10 and not posting them on the blog until 10.23.10. SORRY, it's been crazy around here!!!

Reed is still such a good baby! He is playing with toys a lot more, still not sitting up but rolling around EVERYWHERE!!! His sweet little spirit just melts my heart! He always has a smile on his face and sure does know how to make his mommy happy!!!

Still nursing really well! I plan on only breastfeeding until month 8 or 9 then we will add homemade baby food!

Cooper Lynn's 2nd Birthday Party (with my family)

My sweet little Cooper Lynn is turning 2 on Oct 17, 2010. We celebrated with my family this Tuesday because my family is going out of town this weekend. We will be celebrating with Jeff's family this weekend.

Cooper is such a blessing to our family. I'm so thankful for our special bond that we have. I think it's so funny that when I look back to the day she was born and I said we will not have a girly girl! Boy o Boy was I WRONG!!!!!!!! She loves baby dolls, bows, shoes and purses. We can't leave the house without a purse! She loves getting new clothes and she loves when I do her hair!

We are so thankful for Cooper and the little girl she is. We pray that she will do amazing things for God's kingdom and live a life pleasing to the Lord!

On No.... Look what Aunt Ashley bought Cooper. And of course she loved it!!!

OneLife 10.10.10

10.10.10 we kicked off our first service at One Life Church.

On 10.10.10 @ 10 OneLife Church in Henderson, KY launched. The past year has been a wild ride (to put it mildly) but the ride culminated with the opening of our doors this past sunday. We knew that there was a buzz around Henderson and Evansville, but we really had no idea what to expect the first day. The best estimate is that there were upwards of 750 people in attendance. Knowing that was a possibility, it was decided that the church would immediately go to 2 services each week. It's awesome to see what God is already doing at OneLife. The ride has only begun.

Evansville Half Marathon

10.10.10 was the Evansville Half Marathon. This is my first half for my 12 in 12 goal. I was really hoping to PR (personal record) at the race, and I did! My time was 1:46:35 which is a 8:09 pace. 2004 I did a 1:47:25 then I started having babies and ran all my other half's with a baby in my belly. So this was my first half since 2004 that I could really push myself!!!! And boy did it feel AWESOME!!!!!

I really thought I was going to get closer to 1:43 but about mile 8 I really had to slow down. Here are my split time.
1-7:20
2- 7:48:99
3-7:41:24
4-7:58:74
5-8:10:47
6-8:15:76
7-8:06:49
8-8:26:98
9-8:28:04
10-8:22L58
11-8:36:51
12-8:20:17
13.1-9:02:99

I really hope that I can start training on the road more. It's just so hard because I workout with the kids in the kids club at the gym. I can leave and run on the road but it's nice being right there just in case they need me!

My recovery from this race has SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!! I don't remember ever feeling this way after a race, not even after my full marathon. I don't know if it's because I pushed myself to its limit or if it's because I do most of my running on a treadmill (%80 of the time)! It didn't hit me until Monday morning! I literally had to crawl up and down my stairs for almost 48 hours. The kids bedrooms are upstairs so getting them to their beds for naps was very interesting. I wish I would have video taped it. Just try your hardest to picture me crawling up the stairs with Reed in my arms!!! Not a pretty picture!!!!!

Race #1 is done, 11 to go!!!!!!!!!

Tami and I after the race. We both made a PR!
