Christmas is in the air!

This was our first year to get a real tree! I love the way it smells and looks! I'm so glad we decided to start a new tradition. We had our artificial tree still so we put it up in the office. The boys had a blast helping mommy and daddy put on the ornaments and they were a big help! Cooper spent most of the time taking her nap but she did wake up at the end and was able to be a part of it.

Halloween 2009

The kids dressed up as cowboys and a cowgirl! They had a blast this Halloween. We started out on Friday by going to Jeff's office and going all through the building trick or treating. It's something we have done since Avin was a baby. They always leave there with more than enough candy.

On Halloween we went to see Grandma Lou Lou, she surprised the kids at the door with her cowgirl outfit on. They loved it!!!!! Then we went to the mall to see MaMa at work. After that we went to the fire station to see PaPee at work. Then we ended the night trick or treating down my parents street. The kids had a great time!

I'm proud to say the boys got two pieces of candy on Halloween and haven't asked for anymore. It's put away and I have a feeling Jeff and I will eat it then throw a lot of it away!

Cooper's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Cooper's 1st birthday on Saturday Oct 17, 2009. We were hoping to have both families over but my family went on a trip that weekend so they weren't able to make it. We celebrated our niece, Graci's birthday too.

I made Cooper cake, all organic no sugar! I thought she would love it because it actually tasted good. But she didn't like the mess it made! You can see in the pictures below she wasn't happy about all that cream cheese icing on her hands. She doesn't like to be messy!

Cooper also had her 1 year check up last week. The doctors appointment went really well. We always love seeing and talking to Dr. Blanke. I feel very blessed to have a doctor that I can trust. Her height was 27in long and weight 18lb 3 oz. Needless to say she is a small little girl!
