No Eating Out!

Jeff and I are taking a challenge to not eat out until the first of March. With the exception of my Monday girls night at Panera, his lunch meetings and our weekend trip without the kids to Indy/Lafayette at the end of January. We started it Last Monday and I will say our first week was so rewarding! Normally we don't eat out but one to two times a week, but here lately it's been really bad, mostly at lunch time. A good friend of mine has been doing it with here family for almost 2 months now and it has encouraged us to do the same with our family! I'm really looking forward to the money we will save and the more time we will have at home!

I'm sure I'm like most people and get in the habbit of cooking the same thing over and over. So in Feburary I have 17 new reciepes we will try! Stay tuned because I hope to blog more about our experience of no eating out for 7 weeks! So far Avin and Jeff have loved it and Parker has hated it.

Fun Day at home and update on the Seymore household

The kids have had a cold and a cough so we stayed home from Church yesterday! Saturday Jeff and I worked on the house ALL day doing projects like, cleaning out closets, organizing the basement and garage! So we wanted to spend ALL day Sunday doing fun things for them. Avin all week has been asking to make chocolate covered strawberries so we thought that would be something fun we could do! We also painted on canvas' and traced there bodies out on cardboard!
Avin has been showing a lot of interest in photography so Jeff let him use one of our old camera bodies to tug around all day. I'll post some picturse later from his day of picture taking. We finished the day by watching Cloudy with a chance of meatballs (the boys favorite movie). The day had it's ups and downs but overall we had a really good time together!

It's been a while since I've posted. Things are just getting busier and busier around her. I use to get up around 5:00 am and work on stuff like this but lately the pregnancy has taken a toll on my body and I've needed more sleep! I miss my 5:00-7:00 time but have needed more sleep. I'm now 22 weeks pregnant and over all feel GREAT! I am still working out and updating my prego blog. http://pregorunning.wordpress.com/ I'm not running as much as I would like but doing a lot of cross training! It's been 5 days since I've gotten to the gym because of the kids and their colds! It's just the season and having small kids I've learned to expect it every year! (that's why a treadmill in the basement would be awesome)

The boys are doing great. Both of them are doing great with homeschooling. Cooper is now walking and wanting to be in the middle of everything! I'm excited to see what 2010 brings for us, a family of 6!

Christmas 2009 (posted a month late)

Christmas 2009 was crazy but fun! Our Christmas celebrations last a whole week. We get with my family the Sunday before Christmas, the Bradford's Christmas Eve, Seymore's Christmas Day and the Robert's the day after Christmas.
